In the fall of 1963 I saw my first mid-year coupe. It was black with red interior. I was sure there had neverbeen a more beautiful car. In 2005 myfamily closed our business on the square after 28 years. In Spetember Shirley and I bought our first Corvette and joined the North Texas Corvette Club in October. We were drawn to people with the same interest as ours. These great cars and the interest in them pulled us to become members. We jumped in and tried to attend as many events as we could. The fine welcoming people of this club drew us in completely. Cars brought us here but the friends we have made kept us coming. We hope everyone finds this club offers an atmosphere to socialize and develop lasting friendships.Lloyd HensleyPresident NTCC
